As pointed out by Eduardo Perez we now know the AL West will be in this seasons ALCS. I would like to congratulate the Phillies for taking of the red birds in two games. This means that the NL East will be in this seasons NLCS.
Tonight the Mets have a shot of taking care of the Padres and making this years NL Pennant chase NL East dominant.
I can’t help but think what it was like for Mr. Robinson during his first playoff run with Dodgers and when they would eventually win the World Series. Most people know the story. The emotions felt and experienced by him during that time are what are impactful to me.
There were 16 teams when the pair would cross paths and now we’re at 30.
