The Lunar New Year is upon us and the year of the Rabbit could mark the 50th Anniversary of “Mr. Robinson’s song to Mr. Slaughter”.
We do know that Mr. Slaughter purposely assaulted Mr. Robinson in 1947 which was the year of the Pig. So the song may have been performed the following year 1948 (Rat) or 1949 (Ox), maybe even 1950 (Tiger).
